Pixel character animator
Aseprite native. You build a character sheet and its clips (idle, walk, attack, hurt, death) and you can re-key someone else's sheet without breaking its tags.
Send two or three animated characters, looping.
Upper Int Games is a small independent studio with several titles in production and none announced yet. Everything below is art. We are not hiring engineers right now.
The work is remote and per project, and every role starts with one small paid test piece so both sides find out quickly whether it fits.
We keep our titles quiet until they are announced, so the real brief, the cast and the style sheets come after first contact.

Parallax backdrops, plus tile kits that assemble themselves: corners, edges and fills that survive a level painted by somebody else.
Send a tileset in use, and the sheet it came from.
Cast design under a hard constraint: every prop hangs on the silhouette and still has to read at sprite size. Families that repeat, a roster that keeps growing.
Send a cast sheet, not single hero pin-ups.
Rigging and animation for the hand-drawn side of the studio: loops that never drift, attacks that land on a frame the game can hook into.
Send a rig you built, with the bone and mesh view.
Panels, HUD chrome and icon families that stay readable at 32 pixels. Sets in the dozens, not one-offs, plus app icons and store art.
Send one icon family, and the same icon at three sizes.
Hits, heals, projectiles and screen transitions. Effects carry their own palette so they never blend into the character underneath.
Send effects on a loop, over a real scene if you have one.
A phased pixel-art roster and animation project: fantasy combat sprites, starting with one paid test character (idle + attack). The full brief is public.
Portfolio link, your rate, and how long a batch takes you. Say which of the six roles you are answering. Nothing else: no cover letter, and no unpaid test piece up front.
We read everything and answer the ones we can work with. If a role is not listed and you think we are missing it, write anyway.
